In this issue, he and his friend, Wendy the witch,  need to retrieve the magical "Have Your Cake and Eat It Too" cake.

I'm listening to RNC speeches. The content of those by the former head of EBay and the former head of Hewlett-Packard indicates Senator McCain is the head of the "Have Your Cake and Eat It Too" Party.  He will make the United States energy-independent, in part, through off-shore drilling and increased nuclear power, while preserving the environment.

Uh-huh.

3rd September, 2008. 9:24 pm. Is the pot's proxy calling the kettle . . ?

Apparently, according to Guliani, the number of times Senator Obama voted "Present," instead of "Yes" or "No," is a negative. Hmmm.

On a similar note, Senator McCain missed 407 votes, this year--almost 64 percent of the total cast. Hmmm. Senator Obama has missed just over 45 percent of votes.

self-serving?

Governor Palin claims "clean coal" comes from Pennsylvania. There is not such a thing, but there is a less-polluting form of coal, which contains less sulfur. It comes from Wyoming.

Just when I thought she might not refer to Senator McCain's war record. I guess she couldn't be left out of this opportunity.

I'm reminded of when Doonesbury made fun of Bob Dole's near-constant reference to his "War Wound."
